I received a note from Ruth Sanders Kirby indicating she would have come, but has a conflict with her college class of 1952 celebrating on the same date in Alabama.
Ms. Mueller needs transportation. She is currently living in Tucker while her condo is being renovated. She lives on Montreal Rd.   I will offer to bring her unless there is someone near that area that can provide a ride.

The following is a letter sent  to our teachers by Jean Sims Hawkins in February, 2012 on behalf of our class:

Dear (Name of Teacher),

It was Spring of 1962, and the senior class of Henry W. Grady High School was preparing for graduation ceremonies and eagerly anticipating life after high school. You, our teachers and mentors, were there to encourage us and to celebrate this momentous milestone in our lives. We haven’t forgotten you and the importance of your influence in our formative years.

Now, fifty years later, we are planning to celebrate once more as we gather for our fiftieth high school reunion. We would be honored to have you as our special guest for this event. Our dinner will take place May 5, 2012 at 7:00 PM. The location will be the Four Seasons Hotel, 75 14th Street, Atlanta, Ballroom 1 and 2.

If you can join us, I would like to hear from you by April 1. Also, if you might need assistance with transportation, please let me know. If you have internet access and would like to visit our website it is http://www.grady1962.com

We are really looking forward to seeing you and sharing our memories of past times at Grady High School.

Sincerely yours,

Jean Sims Hawkins
